Privacy

The Sikhi Calendar app does not collect, store or share any personal data. It has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

What stays on your phone
Everything you enter — your own events, reminders and settings — is kept only on your phone. Reminders and the home-screen widgets are run by your phone itself. If you uninstall the app, this information is removed with it. If your phone’s own Android backup to your Google account is switched on, Android may include it in that backup; that backup is between you and Google, and the charity never sees it.
Sharing
When you choose to share a day (as a picture card or as text) or export a file, it goes only where you send it, through your phone’s own share menu. The app does not see or keep a copy.
Internet
The app works without an internet connection; all dates are worked out on the phone. When it is online, the app checks the charity’s calendar server (hosted by Cloudflare) for corrections to the calendar — for example a renamed purab or a changed date — so that every phone shows the same calendar. This is a plain download: the app sends nothing about you, has no account and no identifier, and the charity does not store or use any information about who downloads. As with any website, your phone’s internet address reaches Cloudflare so that the answer can be sent back; the charity does not keep it.
Children
The app collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
